I’ve decided to bring Dragonbat back from the dead as a place for me to let my hair down and let off steam. Starbright, my main illustration (and role-playing games) site, is great looking now and hundreds of people are visiting to look at my role-playing game illustrations and read my science fiction related jabbering, but I have to pay a lot of attention to SEO and keeping the tone right and the content consistent.
Here at Dragonbat I have decided not to worry so much about any of that. I might write 250 words as SEO websites suggest, or I might just post some art and leave it at that, I haven’t decided yet; but one thing I definitely won’t be doing is repeating the same keyword over and over again so that the Google ad robot knows what ads to serve. Then again maybe I will, it’s a hard habit to break. Anyway today’s picture is a mech design I did for Starbright, anyone else remember Battletech as fondly as I do?
I'm animating again, and this time with my own blog new animation blog at http://animationbay.blogspot.com and this is the first animation I uploaded..
One thing that I find annoying about blogger is that it converts animated gifs into jpegs and so renders them lifeless, I'
m hosting the animations at metacafe right now as a workaround. They are a profit sharing alternative to youtube and my stuff seems to get more views as well.
